This design has a story! Most evenings my spouse and I sit on our back patio around dusk and watch the bats swarm and dive for their daily meal. We watch the skies colors fade from pale pink at sunset to a deep purple and then comes the dark indigo of night sky.
Bats are Awesome! Without bats we wouldn’t have many foods and medicines that we cherish. Bats being premiere pollinators, help provide us with bananas, agave (Tequila and sugar), mangoes, guavas, dates, figs, peaches, and CHOCOLATE. Plus, their voracious appetites; eating their own weight in insects each night, help save us millions of dollars by eating pests that harm crops like, cotton, tomatoes, corn, rice, strawberries, pecans and more!
